Nandita Deodhar joined the GAP team in August 2025 as a student intern to support social media and database management, research and event logistics.
Her role includes editorial and program support for GAP and the International Centre for Democratic Partnerships (ICDP), including liaising with ICDP Pacific Hub Coordinators, assisting with the delivery of Pacific-wide dialogues and maintaining stakeholder relationships within the ICDP Pacific Community.
Currently in her final year at the University of Technology Sydney, Nandita is an Indian international student studying a double bachelor’s degree in Communications (Social & Political Sciences) and International Studies, with minors in Media Business and German. She combines her academic training in policy analysis with hands-on experience in special-needs and vocational skills teaching and volunteering with cross-cultural advocacy groups. This intersection of theory and practice drives her commitment to advancing equitable education policy and accessible learning frameworks worldwide.
